Xcaret is a "Theme Park" for lack of better words, I mean it was always marketed as a Natural Eco Park with underground rivers and all of that but after you visit Xcaret once really I never had a desire to go back. Yes, I did have fun and yes the show is excellent, it is a fast summary of the history of the area which is very nice and integrates cultural dance within the show. The food is good (not 5 star but good) and there are so many a la carte activities that you can do there like Swim with the dolphins, Scuba Diving, Snorkeling all at an extra cost above the entrance fee.


Xcaret Park is boasted as one of the most famous theme parks of the Mayan Riviera and the Mexican Caribbean, upon arrival you will get a map so you can plan every minute of your day in paradise, enjoying all the incredible activities we have for you. If you wish, start your tour on the Natural Coral Reef Aquarium to the Isle of Jaguars, submerge and refresh yourself in the rivers; you will enjoy step by step every activity at Xcaret, Mayan Riviera! At the dusk, take a look to the candle lighted Mexican Mayan Cemetery, then, after a day full of adventure and nature, have time to relax enjoying one of the best shows ever representing the best of our colored and full of happiness Mexican Culture and Traditions, the Ball Game and Xcaret Mexico Spectacular.

The Hours of the Tour here in the Riviera Maya is unlimited during the time the location is opened, from 8:30 am to 10:00 pm.

There are fresh water showers, restaurant/snack bar and bathrooms available at the park
Please notice that is required a USD $ 20.00 deposit for the snorkel equipment, that will be returned as soon as you return the equipment in good conditions
